01 / Our story

On the same road since 1974.

1969

Seven people meet on Wednesday 20 November under Pastor W.C. “Bill” Vansant. Twelve come to the first Sunday service that week.

1970

Organised on 8 March with twenty-seven charter members. Ten acres bought on Lewis Road.

1974

The first building is finished and the church moves to the present site.

2001

An 11,000 square foot sanctuary and office building is dedicated in September.

Two men, thirty-five years between them.

Dr. George A. Mulford III Lead Pastor · called March 1991

The second pastor in the church's history. Licensed and ordained at Faith Baptist Church, Sarasota; Bible degree from Heritage Baptist University; honorary Doctor of Divinity from Trinity Baptist Seminary in 2014. Married to Kathy, with four children and nine grandchildren.

Seth T. Mulford Associate Pastor

Joined the church as youth director after graduating from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, in 2003, with study in youth ministry and missions. Married to Jenn.
